The Nation’s Largest Distributor of Luxury Appliances Unveils Industry Firsts at the Annual Architectural Digest Design Show
Almo Premium Appliances announces new partnership with American Range and exhibits the latest product introductions from Liebherr Refrigeration, U-Line, Alfresco Open Air Culinary System, SUPERIORE, Sharp, and Faber Ventilation
Philadelphia, PA – March 19, 2018 – Almo Premium Appliances, as part of its exhibition at the 2018 Architectural Digest Design Show, will feature a number of industry firsts and new product introductions from partner brands Liebherr, U-Line, Alfresco Open-Air Culinary System, SUPERIORE by Tecnogas, Sharp and Faber Ventilation. Additionally, the company announced, effective April 15,, that it has been named the authorized distributor of record for American Range, a luxury commercial and professional cooking appliance manufacturer, in 36 of 50 U.S. states. During the show’s run, March 22-25, 2018, at Piers 92 & 94 in New York City, the booth will feature exclusive and innovative products, including:
Liebherr
Liebherr, the leader in quality, energy efficient refrigeration will display newly upgraded units and its new panel-ready undercounter refrigerator model, the UR 500, which features pullout or swing door options and can be assembled side-by-side without a middle cabinet or any extra kit required. Liebherr’s whisper quiet operation keeps noise level under 38 decibels, and all new models are Energy Star-rated with LED lighting, touch controls, and a Sabbath Mode feature.
Liebherr will debut its Monolith Towers and Inception Kitchen, as part of an extended booth with Almo. Monolith, boasts whisper silent operation, smart technology, and a sleek design. Featuring a SmartDeviceBox, the Monolith allows users to connect to their home Wi-Fi network, control certain functions, and receive alerts on their iOS-, Android- or Alexa-enabled devices. The refrigerators are available in 24- and 30-inches and can be combined with freezers available in 18- and 24-inches. To celebrate Monolith’s contemporary style, Liebherr partnered with designer Richard Anuszkiewicz to create the Inception Kitchen which features two Monolith refrigerator/freezer combinations using custom-aged bronze panels with leather door pull and figured fumed eucalyptus in poly gloss finish. The space also highlights two 30” SUPERIORE custom NEXT ranges.
SUPERIORE
SUPERIORE launches its versatile, bold LA CUCINA Collection featuring modern 30” and 36” ranges in cutting-edge colors and finishes for the North American consumer.
LA CUCINA stainless steel ranges are available with the option of the classic oven door window or PANORAMA window for a widescreen view inside the oven. The worktop features five gas burners (on both sizes) with power up to 18,000 BTUs and simmer at 750BTUs, and below, a gas convection oven with convection fan, infrared broiler and 5.7 or 6.7 cu. ft. overall capacity. The 36” classic door ranges are also offered in nine never-before-seen colors, including sage and aubergine, and four unique finishes, from velvet, stellar, high-gloss and pearl.
U-Line
Since expanding distribution with Almo to the Northeast Territory, U-Line makes its debut to the booth exhibition, featuring its best-in-class- modular refrigeration and ice units, depicting the company’s unique and distinct integration story. The display shows 1000, 2000 and 3000 series beverage centers, wine units and clear ice makers, with a basic integrated aesthetic to a seamlessly integrated, cohesive design.
Alfresco Open Air Culinary Systems
With the growing trend of outdoor kitchen spaces on the rise, and specialty grill products slated to reach $2.6 Billion in 2021 (Source: Freedonia Group), Alfresco Open Air Culinary System highlights, in its display, the ultimate outdoor kitchen. Anchored by its updated 42” grill, the exhibit showcases additional sear and power burners and accessory drawers, showing how to bring the greatest conveniences of an indoor kitchen, outside.
Sharp
In an Architectural Digest Design Show first, Sharp will showcase the first-ever vertical motion microWAVE drawer featuring a touchless operation, stainless-steel finish, 1.2-cubic-foot capacity and LED interior lighting. This drawer is complemented by the popular built-in SuperSteam+ combination steam and convection oven that uses purely superheated steam (up to 485ºF) to grill, sauté and roast. The modern, premium stainless design makes the SuperSteam+ the perfect showpiece, demonstrating its full color touch navigation and brilliant LCD display
Faber Ventilation
Faber presents the Chole, In-Light and upgraded Dama range hoods as part of its robust offering of innovative and designer ventilation solutions. The Chloe is a modern take on country chic, with a trapezoid shape that has the ability to be ducted or recirculated from the rear of the unit, allowing it to float on the wall. The In-Light is an elegant built-in, flush mounted range hood featuring a stylish and functional 1 watt, 4000K neutral white LED lighting bar which provides superior, energy efficient task lighting to the cooktop. And finally, the upgraded Dama range hood includes two energy saving LED lights, updated easy touch controls, an intensive speed option, pro-style stainless steel baffles, and an option for an ADA compliant remote control.
